Kerrie Boudreaux

Kerrie Nettleton Boudreaux is our PE teacher as of the 2017-18 school year.  She was born in Chauvin and grew up in Montegut.  She is a 1991 graduate of South Terrebonne High School. After attending Nicholls State University for almost 4 years, she decided to fulfill a teenage dream of joining the military.  From 1995-1999, she served in the United States Air Force stationed at MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida.  She was also deployed for 4 months to Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia in 1998. Just out of the military, she had two children, Garrett and Emily. In 2006, she decided to go back to Nicholls to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  Right after graduation at the end of 2008, she took a position as a Special Education teacher at Pointe-Aux-Chenes Elementary. In 2009, she began teaching 2nd grade at Montegut Elementary. Today, she is married to the man of her many prayers, Paul Boudreaux. Outside of school, she is very involved with her church where she serves on the worship team and teaches kid’s church.  She also teaches Taekwondo to area children, many of whom attend Montegut Elementary.  At the present, her work life, home life, and free time are devoted to children.  It is her hope that she positively impacts their lives just as significantly as they daily positively impact hers.
