My name is Angela Griffin, but everyone calls me Annie or Mrs. Annie.  I was born and raised in Morgan City, Louisiana. I graduated from Morgan City High School in 1982. I moved to Chauvin in 2000 when I married my wonderful husband Daniel. Between Daniel and myself we have 8 children and 7 grandchildren with one more on the way. I began working for the school board as a part time Kindergarten Para with Mrs Rogers here at MES.  After beginning my second year at MES I accepted a full time position as a PreK Para working with Mrs. Jennifer Ledet at Boudreaux Canal School.  We were moved to MES in 2011 and I hope to remain with Mrs. Jennifer and at MES until I retire. I love Pre K and I love that we are the first people to greet and love these babies as we prepare them for their future as students. I look forward to challenging each child to reach his/her potential each year and I am very thankful to be able to work in a job as rewarding, fun and so full of love each day.

For the 2017-18 school year, Ms. Annie is working as a special ed para.

My name is Evelyn Angeron.  I have been employed by the Terrebonne Parish School Board for twenty-five years as a paraprofessional, twenty-four of those years have been at Montegut Elementary.  I was originally hired as a math paraprofessional and now serve as a paraprofessional in the Pre-K program.  I have had the opportunity to touch the lives of hundreds of children over the years.  I have worked with many families during that time, teaching siblings and now children of the original students that I helped when I began twenty-five years ago. It has been a blessing to be part of the MES faculty and staff and a part of the Montegut community where I have made many lasting friendships with the families of MES students.

Indian Paraprofessional - Mildred Naquin

Mildred Naquin joins the Montegut Elementary team this year from MMS. She has already made an impact on students, especially in the math area where she has been working with Indian students as well as other students to improve math fact fluency. We are very excited to have her here this year.
